~ I'M RUNNING AS FAST AS I CAN ~
Today's world is filled with realty shows, folks from the
normal walk of life competing against others like them to win
the most coveted of prizes. All are sure winning the big prize will be the
end of all their problems, and the beginning of happily ever after. But, just as the grass dies and trees drop their leaves, so are other tangible things of the earth temporary. All too soon the prize becomes worn out and used up, losing charm along the way. And such is the way of everyday life ~ if we choose it.
How wonderful that we Christians run the good (complete, eternal) race; that we follow hard after the Kingdom of Heaven. There nothing fades away, but remains fresh and new every day for eternity. Now that's a great realty show!
